The majority of out of print books can only be sourced on the secondhand market, we trawl through databases of secondhand booksellers and advertise to the trade trying to match your exact needs.
We save you the hassle of telephone calls, visits to second-hand book dealers and cover the risk of internet trading going wrong. Because we deal with the trade, day in day out, we can ensure that you get what you expected and if we fail in that mission we offer a no-quibble money back guarantee. If we send you a book that doesn’t come up to the mark, we’ll take it back.
After you request a search we set about trying to find the item – the first four weeks of our searches are free. We will contact you with a NO OBLIGATION quote confirming price and condition as soon as we find the book. The price we quote will include postage and packing and should you decide to purchase, we will endeavour to deliver within 10 working days unless the book has been sourced abroad.
90% of the books we sell are found in the first four weeks. But, if you have not heard from us within the month it will mean that we have not been successful. If you’d like us to keep trying you can then consider contacting us to arrange an Extended Search.
Extended Search. After the first four week search period you can ask us to extend our search for another 3 months. For this time we step up our advertising to the trade and dip into the open market on a weekly basis to see if a copy turns up. If you’ve bought from Twiggers before, this service is offered at no charge. If you’ve not previously bought from Twiggers there is a fee of £10 per title. Please remember, if you want an extended search you have to contact us and ask for it, after the first four weeks, even if you are a previous customer and receive the service for free.
